What technologies and platforms do you build websites with?
We code websites by hand in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and we work with modern frameworks and languages such as React, Next.js, Astro, PHP and more. We also build websites on Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, WooCommerce or any other platform you prefer, so your site runs wherever works best for your business.
Can I edit the content myself?
Yes. Every site includes an admin dashboard and a video guide so you can change text, photos and products without touching code.
What do I need to have ready to start?
Your logo, an idea of the pages you want and, if you have them, text and photos. If anything is missing, we'll help with the copy and images.
How do payments work?
50% when you approve the proposal and 50% before the site goes live. For larger projects we split payment by stage. See also our cancellation and refund policy.
What's the difference between hosting, domain and MavoraCare?
- Hosting: keeps your website's files stored on a server so the site can be available on the internet.
- Domain: the web address visitors use to reach your site.
- MavoraCare: covers the maintenance tasks you've agreed on, such as technical fixes and backups.
What happens after launch?
You get 30 days of support included. After that you can continue with MavoraCare, our monthly maintenance plan, or ask us for one-off changes.
Policies
Cancellation and refund policy.
At Mavora Designs, we are committed to providing professional services and maintaining clear communication throughout every stage of the project.
Cancellations before work begins
If the client requests to cancel the project before work has started, they may be eligible for a refund of the amount paid, subject to any non-refundable fees that were previously disclosed and authorized, where applicable.
Cancellations after work begins
Once website development has started, any cancellation request will be evaluated based on the project's progress, the work completed, and the expenses incurred. Where applicable, a partial refund may be issued and calculated proportionally based on the services that remain incomplete.
Completed projects
Once the website has been completed and delivered in accordance with the agreed terms, refunds will not be issued for changes of mind or personal decisions by the client, except where required by applicable law.
Service issues or technical problems
If an issue arises that is attributable to Mavora Designs, we will assess the situation and provide a reasonable solution, which may include corrections, adjustments, completion of outstanding services, or a refund where appropriate.
Third-party services
Payments for domains, hosting, licenses, or other third-party services may be subject to the respective providers' refund policies. Any non-refundable expenses must be communicated to the client in advance and authorized accordingly.
Refund and cancellation procedure
All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing through Mavora Designs' official contact channel. Each request will be reviewed individually, and the client will be informed of the decision and, where applicable, the refund amount.
This policy does not limit any rights the client may have under applicable law.
